Sam Newman takes up fight against political correctness ‘gone mad’

Controversial AFL identity Sam Newman is fighting back against what he says is political correctness gone mad.

The Footy Show star says he’s had enough of people being forced to hide their ‘legitimate’ opinions on issues because they are unpopular.

He said it was stifling debate in the community.

‘We have been intimidated into not having an opinion about anything because of agenda-makers and zealots who just want to criticise every single thing that’s spoken about,’ Newman told Neil Mitchell.

‘It’s ridiculous.

‘I think people should maybe fight back a bit.’?
