Samuel Johnson has opened up to Denis Walter following the death of his sister Connie.

The Gold Logie-winning actor, who has retired to focus on raising funds to fight cancer, has vowed to continue his efforts after Connie passed away earlier this month after fighting the disease for more than two decades.

Denis Walter started by ask Samuel how he was holding up.

“I think I’m OK,” Johnson said on 3AW.

“I’m not sure whether it’s OK to be OK.

“I’m sad, I can’t call my sister on the phone anymore.

“But I’m OK. I’m very focused on the work.”
