A Caroline Springs woman says she’s had it with the escalating crime in her suburb and she’s moving out.

Caroline Springs has been in the news since last year, with citizens patrolling the streets looking for trouble makers due to the rising number of aggravated burglaries.

Sarah told Neil Mitchell her family had moved to the north and Sudanese gangs were to blame.

‘If you aren’t living in the community, you don’t understand,’ she said.

African Community Leader, Abeselom Nega, who runs a youth training network, sat down in studio with Neil Mitchell.

Mr Nega agrees there is a problem with African youth crime, but says the justice system is working.
