#SayItNow: Kate Stevenson

3AW Breakfast’s own Kate Stevenson joined Denis Walter for #SayItNow week, thanking someone who believed her when she was just starting out in her radio career.

Kate admitted she was a bit intimidated when she arrived at 3AW, but there was one person in particular who took her under their wing.

“You arrive here thinking everyone’s going to be ruthless and it’s a really great place to be,” Kate told 3AW Afternoons.

“And when I did start there was someone who I thought, ‘Wow, that person is amazing’.”

Kate said she owed so much of her own career to former 3AW Breakfast senior producer Nicole Denton.

“She was so generous and thoughtful and good to me at the beginning when I didn’t know what I was doing,” Kate said.
