School sent into lockdown after police chase through Melbourne’s west

A school in Melbourne’s west was placed into lockdown after a high-speed police chase on Tuesday.

Five individuals driving a stolen Porsche were spotted in Manor Lakes shortly before 11am, with the car dumped and those occupants fleeing into a nearby school, which was put into lockdown as a precaution.

Murray witnessed several police and other emergency services speed towards the scene.

“There were 13 unmarked police cars heading up north,” he told 3AW Mornings.
