Schoolboy sex attack on Alamein train

A manhunt is underway after a schoolboy was allegedly sexually assaulted on a Melbourne train.

Police said the 17-year-old victim was on his way to school on a city-bound train on the Alamein line around 8.15am on May 24 when a man approached him near the door.

He’s alleged to have sexually assaulted the teenage boy, who quickly fought back by pushing and yelling.

The offender is described as caucasian, aged in his 60s, with a pot belly and receding hair.
