The state government is giving expanded disciplinary powers for schools to address the behaviour of troublesome students out of school hours.

Deputy Premier and Education Minister Ben Carroll joined 3AW Mornings and made it clear that “harmful behaviour will have consequences”.

“We want schools to be preparing our young people for a world of work,” Carroll told Tom Elliott.
