Following a 35-point loss and just one win for the season, Collingwood is expected to look to its VFL team for answers.

It is likely the Magpies will make changes this week as they eye off the ANZAC Day clash against Essendon.

Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley suggested in his post game media conference that players need to be accountable for their performance.

‘We’ve got enough evidence now to make some calls on guys,’ Buckley said.

‘There s no doubt we need be to not making any comprises on the effort and contest.’

Currently in the Collingwood reserves are names like Brent Macaffer and Jack Frost, however Buckley might look deeper than the players with senior experience and call on a debutant.

Enter Rupert Wills.

A contested ball gun who was selection number 63 in the National Draft in November last year.

‘He is, right now, a very big chance of making his debut on ANZAC Day,’ Scoop said on Sports Today.

In further bad news for Collingwood, defender Ben Reid is recovering from a knee injury suffered in Sunday’s loss against Melbourne.

With time on his side, Dr Peter Larkins rates Reid as a 50% chance to get up for Monday’s match.
