Scott Morrison ‘can’t see the need’ to change constitution
Treasurer Scott Morrison says he “can’t see a need” to change section 44 of the constitution, despite the distraction it’s caused the Australian parliament.
The treasurer joined Tom Elliott in studio on Friday.
“Everyone knows the rules,” Mr Morrison said on 3AW.
“I sit on the national security committee and I have one allegiance – to Australia.
“You sit in that room, you wouldn’t want to have more than one.”
