The search continues for a driver involved in a hit run collision at Berwick that claimed the life of a father-of-three.
Darrin Pearce, 44, was walking home with his wife, who was a couple of minutes ahead, when he was struck by what’s believed to have been a black BMW sedan and suffered fatal injuries shortly after midnight on Saturday.
He was found injured on the side of the Princes Highway, between Neill and Peel Streets in Berwick.
His wife, Kati, is now pleading for the person responsible to come forward.
Police say the car which hit Mr Pearce will likely have extensive damage to the passenger front wheel arch and passenger front lights.
