Search for driver after woman left fighting for life in Victoria’s east

Police are searching for a driver involved in a crash which left a 59-year-old woman fighting for life in Victoria’s east.

Two cars collided on Purvis Road in Tanjil South at about 4.30pm, leaving a woman with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators have been told the driver of the second vehicle fled on foot and is yet to be located.
