Search for duo after bungled Reservoir bank heist

Detectives are appealing for information after an attempted bank heist in Reservoir over the weekend.

Police were called to the break-in on Spring Street on Sunday at about 9.45pm after the security system was activated.

Two men forced their way into the building and attempted to break open an ATM, but fled when the alarm went off and left empty handed.

It’s believed they attended the bank several times in the 24 hours before the break in.
