See the footage: Hero stops Richmond carjacking

Jacqui Felgate and Tom Elliott have been sent footage of an attempted carjacking on Swan Street in Richmond yesterday afternoon.

Keir, who witnessed it, told 3AW Mornings, the attempted carjacker allegedly tried to steal his customer’s car before a good Samaritan got involved.

“[She] was trying to get her bike out of the car, they … offered her a hand, and yeah, they then [allegedly] tried to steal her purse, which had her keys in it,” he said.
