Senate ballot paper is almost a metre long, Tom Elliott says there is too much choice
Tom Elliott got hold of a senate voting paper.
‘This senate paper is supposed to represent democracy, I think it represents idiocy.’
The paper is almost one metre across… 95 centimetres to be exact.
The new senate ballot paper is massive – ‘It’s basically the height of a 5-year old child’.
The voting paper contains 38 parties and 116 candidates.
‘There is too much choice.’ – Tom said on 3AW Drive.
