Senator Derryn Hinch has described the Premier’s handling of the CFA dispute as a disgrace.

This comes as Hinch pledges support for Federal legislation to protect volunteers.

The Prime Minister has announced plans to amend the Fair Work Act.

Hinch has told Neil Mitchell he’ll support the law change.

He says he told the Premier over the phone – ‘There’s one thing that we’ve already clashed a banged heads over and I don’t support you is over the CFA.’

Hinch has also confirmed with Neil Mitchell his plans for the state election.

‘We will be standing candidates in the state election.’ – he told 3AW Mornings.
