Senator rips council over ‘Voice’ forum she says is misuse of ratepayer funds
A Liberal Senator has ripped into the Borough of Queenscliffe over what she says is the misuse of ratepayer money.
They’re hosting a ratepayer-funded Voice forum, but have only invited speakers backing the ‘Yes’ vote.
Senator Sarah Henderson told Tom Elliott she was “very concerned” and offered her services to present the merits of the ‘No’ vote but was knocked back.

“We’ve now got a situation where valuable ratepayers money is being spent on this forum, which has been promoted on the ‘Yes’ campaign website,” she said on 3AW Drive.
