Senior constable facing string of charges over alleged assault

A senior constable with Victoria Police has been charged with 17 offences.

They relate to an alleged assault while he was off duty in May last year.

The police officer is facing charges including reckless conduct endangering life and breaching court orders.

He has been summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
