Senior police officer charged with sexual assault and exposure

A senior Victoria Police officer has been charged with sexual assault.

The Senior Sergeant is facing three counts of sexual assault.

He’s also facing one count of sexual exposure in a public place.

The man, from a specialist unit, has been suspended with pay.

He will appear before court at a later date.
