‘Seriously?!’: Ross’s least favourite moment in the Joyce/Campion interview

Not many people found much to like about Barnaby Joyce and Vikki Campion’s exclusive interview to discuss their affair and the birth of their son Sebastian on Sunday Night last night.

But there was one moment that really irked Ross and John.

It was when Ms Campion explained why they accepted $150,000 for a tell-all, despite having previously played the privacy card when trying to save Mr Joyce’s political career.

“As far as I see it, everyone else is making money out of Sebastian except for Sebastian.”
“So let’s take some of that, put it in a trust, and then he can use that for his education and health.”

Ross found an obvious flaw in this.

That’s obviously using the well-established principle that every kid pays for his own education,” he noted sarcastically.

“I mean, seriously?

“It’s saving them money. Not saving Seb money.

“Fancy you’re pretending you’re doing it to pay for the child’s education that you would’ve paid anyway…”
