SES pleads with drivers as heavy rain sparks flash flooding

Multiple people have been rescued after driving into water, with many parts of Victoria – including Melbourne – being hammered by rain.

The State Emergency Service is pleading with people to not do the same.

“The message today is that if there is water on the road – forget it – find another way,” Laura Dewildt from the State Emergency Service said.
