SES provides update on emergency situation in Gippsland

Parts of Gippsland impacted by bushfires recently are now bracing for heavy rain and potentially flash flooding with the SES expecting the worse tonight.

Victoria Emergency Service agency commander, Mark Cattell, says they already have reports of rising rivers and flood warnings.

“Most of the … advice we’re getting is that it’s going to be some nuisance flooding, we’ll see some roads cut, we’ll see some major roads with some disruption,” he told Neil Mitchell.
