SES vents frustration over safety message ‘not getting through’

The State Emergency Service admits it’s frustrated Victorians continue to ignore advice to NOT drive through floodwaters.

More than 30 people have been rescued on Thursday for that reason.

“Unfortunately, we are just not getting that message through,” Jamie Devenish told 3AW Drive.

“It can take as little as 15 centimetres to float a small car.”
