Seven AFL clubs fined for breaching drug code
Seven clubs have been sanctioned by the AFL for failing to provide up-to-date player details for drug testers.
While no players missed tests, the clubs were hit with fines for breaching the ASADA code.
All breaches were found to be administrative in nature and not intentional.
Hawthorn was fined $7500 for three breaches, West Coast and Geelong were fined $5000 for two breaches, while Collingwood, Essendon, Western Bulldogs and St Kilda were fined $2500 for one breach.
AFL General Counsel Andrew Dillon said all clubs needed to constantly ensure that all paperwork requirements were met at all times.
