Sex crimes in Victorian hospitals double in one year

Sex crimes in Victorian hospitals have doubled in the past year.

A person is now raped or assaulted in the wards every four days.

There were 83 sexual offences recorded in hospitals in 2016.

But the Centre Against Sexual Assault says the figure is actually much higher, because very few patients or hospital workers who are a victims come forward.
