Sex Party MP Fiona Patten wants legalise parents smoking in cars with kids

Sex Party MP Fiona Patten says smoking in cars with children should not be illegal.

1700 Victorian parents have been fined since laws were introduced about five years ago, but Ms Patten said the rules are too tough.

She said education was the answer, and that you can’t legislate against bad parents.

A fiery debate ensued.
