Sgt Peppers engineer tells Denis Walter what it’s like working with the Beatles
It’s been 50 years since the Beatles released Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
The sound engineer who worked on the seminal album, Richard Lush, spoke to Denis Walter on Tuesday, giving him an insight into what it was like working with the world’s greatest band.
Mr Lush said he was initially ‘terrified’ working with such an enormous group.
‘Once I got used to it, it was just like any other band, it’s just their songs were so good,’ he said.
He said everyone working on the album knew it was going to be something special.
