Shadow Federal education minister on why teachers should be celebrated more
Federal Liberal senator and shadow minister for Education, Sarah Henderson, says teachers need to be celebrated all year, not just at the end of the school year.
She says teachers are under enormous stress and says the Albanese government have not delivered any solutions to help pressures and acute teacher shortages.
“We’ve also seen declining school standards, one in three children are failing NAPLAN, we know that teacher training in university’s is generally very poor,” she told 3AW Mornings.
