Shadow homes affair minister slams Albanese government over fast-tracked visas granted to Palestinians

Concerns have been raised over news the Albanese government had fast-tracked visas to over 2000 Palestinians.
Federal shadow minister for home affairs, James Paterson, says there’s at least one known Palestinian who has come to Australia since October 7 and has expressed support for the attacks.
“And appears to be sympathetic to Hamas and subjective … imagine if our government actually did proper checks on these 2200 visas they granted,” he said.
