Shadow immigration minister teases policy while slamming current rate of immigration
The federal opposition have signalled plans for a reduced immigration policy but are waiting for the Albanese government to announce their plans first.
The shadow minister for immigration and citizenship, Dan Tehan, criticised the current rate of immigration under the current government.
“We’ve got a housing crisis, rental crisis, people can’t get to see the doctor … We will not be pursuing Labor’s big Australia policy,” he told Tom Elliott.
