‘You can go on about it all you like, I’m telling you what we said today.’ 

That’s how Shadow Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations Brendan O’Connor justified Bill Shorten’s backflip on the Fair Work Commission’s findings regarding slashing Sunday penalty rates.
