Shark spotted at St Kilda beach

A shark has been spotted at St Kilda beach.

The beach was closed on Monday night after the small shark was spotted extremely close to the shore.

Life Saving Victoria said extra patrols had been volunteering at the beach due to the warm night.

They confirmed the sighting, recommending people didn’t swim at the beach for at least two hours.

Punters are sure to flock to the beach again on Tuesday, with temperatures set to enter the 30s again.
