Sharon calls Tom Elliott asking for help with sick neighbour

A Carlton fan with just weeks left to live is hoping for a Christmas visit from some of the club’s players before she dies.

Sharon rang 3AW Drive to tell Tom Elliott about her neighbour, who has been diagnosed with advanced cancer.

The woman and her daughter are Blues fans.

Sharon said she had sent the club an email about her neighbour’s plight and was hoping to hear back soon.

‘We’ll see what we can do,’ Tom Elliott told Sharon.

3AW Drive has since spoken with the Blues and they’re onto it.
