‘She’s tried to get in 20 cars’: Disturbing situation in South Melbourne

A caller to the Neil Mitchell program has told of a disturbing situation unfolding on Clarendon Street, South Melbourne, where a woman is attempting to get into cars.

Joy told Neil the woman is near the intersection of Clarendon and Dorcas Streets, opening car doors and trying to get inside.

“If anyone is driving on Clarendon Street South Melbourne try and avoid the woman attempting to get in all the cars,” Joy said.

“She’s tried to get in at least 20 cars, she’s opening the passenger doors, in some cases she’s actually gotten in.

Joy said the woman does not appear aggressive and police have been called.

The woman is described as looking in her early 20s, dressed in a puffer jacket, tights and a yellow handbag.
