‘Shocking and confusing’: Victim sheds light on terrifying attempted sexual assault

The victim of an attempted sexual assault along Gardiners Creek Trail in Kooyong, where a pack of dogs chased off the offender last week, has opened up on the traumatic experience.

Jessica (not her real name) was with her friend and their dogs when the attack occurred.

“It was shocking and confusing,” Jessica told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Drive.

“We had already actually made two laps of it already, so I do think he was hiding in the bushes while that was happening.

“I’m glad it was us, because we had our dogs to defend us.”
