Shot fired in terrifying attempted carjacking in Melbourne’s south-east

A driver has had a lucky escape when a shot was fired through the windscreen of his car in a road rage attack in Doveton back on July 8.

The 22-year-old found himself being tailgated on the Princes Highway.

The driver of the other car pulled up in front and got out, and with another three men threatened the driver.

As he fled, his windscreen was hit by a bullet.

The four offenders are still on the run.
