Shots fired at CFMEU headquarters
Shots have been fired into the CFMEU headquarters on Swanston Street in Carlton.
The shots have shattered the front glass door of the headquarters and left three bullet holes in the glass panels.
Police are still hunting for the gunman.
Cleaner Diane was working at a nearby building when she heard shots, and she told 3AW News she saw a man jump into white station wagon.
CFMEU boss John Setka says he has no idea who shot up the union headquarters but the list would be ‘long and distinguished’.
He labelled the shooting cowardly.
The attack comes on the day of the union’s Christmas party.
No one was injured.
