But parenting expert Maggie Dent said kids shouldn’t be bribed into doing chores.
‘(Children) need to do these things around home because that’s what we do as a family, it’s the right thing to do,’ Ms Dent said.
But she said increasing the workload can be a good idea when a child’s demands start to increase.
