Should kids use screens at restaurants? An expert weighs in

Parents are divided on the topic of screen time during family restaurant dinners with some, including Ross, believing kids should take part in the restaurant experience.

In an instant poll 92 per cent of the 3AW Breakfast listeners responded NO to the question “Should kids be allowed to use screens at restaurants?”.

CEO of the Restaurant and Catering Industry Association, Suresh Manickam, says there’s no hard rule — it’s a matter of “choice” for families.
