Sick Victorians have been forced to wait for hours for emergency treatment overnight, amid paramedic shortages, and overrun hospitals warning they were out of beds.

The 3AW Drive host was told up to 28 ambulances were dropped across Melbourne last night, with the Austin, Box Hill and Maroondah hospitals being bed locked.
She’s also been told incoming patients at The Angliss Hospital were lying on the floor due to waiting rooms being full, and no beds available.
