Single mum fuming over unconscionable call from home builder only weeks before it collapsed

A single mother has been left devastated after her dream of home ownership turned into a nightmare.

Jessica Rodriguez told Tom Elliott she and her mother had paid a $30,000 deposit each for two homes to be built by Montego Homes, which went into administration on Monday.

She fears they won’t get their money back, and says an unconscionable move by the builder three weeks ago has added insult to injury.
