Six teens charged after Porsche police chase

Six teenage boys in an allegedly stolen Porsche have been charged after being chased by police.

Police spotted the vehicle on Excelsior Drive in Frankston at about 3.30am.

The police air wing followed the Porsche to a service station on Cheltenham Road in Dandenong, where the occupants unsuccessfully attempted to refuel.

Stop sticks were successfully deployed on the vehicle in Dandenong, but it continued on to Sandhurst before coming to a stop.

Six boys — two 14-year-olds, a 16-year-old and three 17-year-olds — fled on foot.

All six have been charged, with offences among the group including theft of a motor vehicle, commit offence whilst on bail, aggravated burglary, and driving offences.
