Sledgehammer-wielding man arrested after terrifying aggravated burglary overnight

Police responded quickly to an aggravated burglary in Ascot Vale overnight, arresting a man who had a sledgehammer, iron bar and an imitation firearm on him.

“This is good work I reckon, this is quick work by officers,” Victoria Police’s Paul Hogan told Ross and Russ.
