Sly highlights the three people left off drug kingpin Tony Mokbel’s ‘wishlist’ amid his appeal

Drug kingpin Tony Mokbel is before the court, attempting to appeal the drug trafficking convictions he was sentenced for in 2012, arguing lawyer turned police informant Nicola Gobbo “tainted” his case.

Sly of the Underworld said Mokbel has a “wishlist” of 35 people he’d like to call upon apart of his appeal, but said the kingpin might be a “bit forgetful” as he’s left three key people involved with him off his list.

The veteran crime writer went on to read a statement to police by one of the people left off Mokbel’s list which wouldn’t bode well for his appeal, and included multiple visits to a Red Rooster in Brunswick!
