Sly sheds light on ‘fake’ Lithuanian criminals who hit top end Melbourne suburbs

Sly of the Underworld has shed light on the extraordinary story of an organised burglary gang who conducted up to 60 burglaries, stealing $2 million worth of designer handbags, cash and jewellery.

Sly claims the members of the gang were of Albanian descent, but had flown into the country with “fake” Lithuanian passports.

Two men were arrested on Monday over the burglaries, with homes in suburbs such as Balwyn, Kew, Moorabbin, South Yarra, Sandringham and Toorak targeted.
