Smell-bourne: Melbourne’s smelliest suburbs revealed

Melbourne’s smelliest suburbs have been rated, with Caroline Springs among the stinkiest.

According to the Herald Sun, Freedom of Information data has revealed that nearly 2,000 complaints were made to the Environment Protection Authority about the smell in Caroline Springs, Ravenhall, and Deer Park.

Other smelly suburbs include Clayton, West Footscray, and Clarinda.

Sewage and garbage are the main causes.

It remains unclear if sales of pegs are higher in these suburbs than in others.
