How punters passed the time while snowed in at UK’s highest pub for three nights
About 60 people, including an Oasis cover band, spent three nights locked in at the UK’s highest pub after being snowed in by Storm Arwen.
The group were snowed in on Friday, and finally left the Tan Hill Inn, in North Yorkshire, on Monday morning.
Head chef at the Tan Hill Inn, Ryan Lockwood, says “everybody just pulled together and we got on”.
“We had Noasis on the Friday, on the Saturday we did board games and we did a quiz as well, so that was a good night, and then the Sunday we actually put karaoke on, so that was a good laugh as well!,” he told Ross and Russel.
Mr Lockwood says “loads” of friendships were formed while the group were stranded.
“We’re actually going to be doing a reunion next year for the people that got locked in!,” he said.
