Soaring fuel prices push Melburnians into ditching cars for bikes

Soaring fuel prices have given many Melburnians that “extra push” to ditch their car for a bicycle, or electronic scooter.

Peter Bourke, General Manager of Bicycle Industries Australia, told 3AW there was no doubt fuel prices were having an impact.

“There is no doubt that every person walking into a bike shop is talking about the price of fuel right now,” he said.
