Socceroos assistant coach Tony Vidmar says set piece plays have been focus for Australia ahead of Wednesday morning’s (6am Melbourne time) World Cup opener against France.

“That’s an area that I am focused on and yeah, look, we have had a lot of joy and success through the qualifying campaign,” he told 3AW’s Wide World of Sports.

“There are areas we think they are vulnerable and hopefully we get good delivery in and players in the right areas.”
