Someone is deliberately targeting a charity event’s billboards

A long-running charity event is being targeted by vandals.

The Peninsula Aero Club’s charity auction at Tyabb has raised money for the needy every two years since the 1960s.

This year’s event is raising funds for Riding For The Disabled and the CFA.

But the event’s success is being affected by someone deliberately covering up signs promoting the event (pictured above).

“Someone has gone around defacing all of our promotional Billboards, which is taking money out of the charity pocket,” the club’s president Jack Vevers told Neil Mitchell.

“We want the Public and the Police to keep an eye out for these vandals to help us stop this damage.”
