Speeding teen bitten by dog, another still loose after Peninsula pursuit
Two teens are in custody — one of them nursing a bite from a police dog — following a pursuit in Melbourne’s outer south-east.
Peninsula Link staff first raised the alarm shortly after midnight when road workers forced to take evasive action to avoid a vehicle with stolen plates being driven at speed at Frankston South.
Police pursued the black Subaru, which was later dumped in a car park on Elizabeth Street in Bayswater.
From there, three people fled on foot.
A girl, 17, was later arrested, along with a man, 18, who was bitten by a police dog.
A third suspect remains on the run.
